Cara Menghapus Profile Wi-Fi Network Windows 8.1

Keberadaan Wi-Fi Network disekitar kita cukup banyak, sehingga setiap kali menghidupkan laptop akan muncul beberapa profil jaringan wireless. Adakalanya kita tidak lagi memerlukan Profile Wi-Fi tertentu, dan ingin menghapusnya. Artikel ini akan membahas cara manual untuk menghapus Profile Wi-Fi Network di Windows 8.1.

Pada dasarnya Windows tidak memberikan pilihan native untuk menghapus Profile Wi-Fi Network. Pada Windows 8.1 ada pilihan Forget Network, namun dengan memilih opsi ini maka tidak sepenuhnya menghapus entri profil jaringan. Selain itu jika suatu saat nanti anda akan menggunakan jaringan tersebut maka akan terjadi masalah.

Berikut ada dua cara untuk menghapus Profile Wi-Fi Network di Windows 8.1 :

Cara 1 :
1. Masuk ke command prompt sebagai administrator.
2. Ketik netsh wlan show profiles, dan akan nampak beberapa profile.
3. Tentukan profile mana yang akan dihapus, sebagai contoh kita hapus
    profile dlink 15, maka langkah yang harus dilakukan adalah mengetik
    netsh wlan delete profile name="dlink 15" kemudian tekan Enter.
4. Untuk menghapus profile lain, anda bisa mengganti dlink 15 dengan
    profile yang diinginkan.

Cara 2 :
1. Tekan kombinasi tombol Windows + R.
2. Ketik Regedt32.exe - tekan Enter.
3. Arahkan ke HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\
    Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles.
4. Pada pane kiri nampak key Profiles yang memuat beberapa profile.
5. Sorotlah setiap key pada pane kiri dan pane kanan maka akan
    terlihat string ProfileName beserta Value Data.
6. Hapus SubKey dengan cara klik kanan - Delete.
