MSI secara resmi merilis dua notebook gaming yaitu GT780DXR dan GT683DXR di pasar USA seperti telah diberitakan di situs mereka. Kedua notebook MSI ini membawa fitur processor Intel Core 2nd Generation. Menampilkan kartu grafis diskrit yang dimotori oleh GPU NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570M 1.5 GB GDDR5 yang mempunyai kemampuan dalam meningkatkan performa sampai 20%. GT780DXR dan GT683DXR merupakan bagian dari notebook MSI G Series yang memang ditujukan bagi dunia gaming dan terdapat opsi Blue-ray burner.
Notebook MSI GT780DXR menghadirkan layar 17.3 inchi Full HD Non Reflection yang dapat menampilkan resolusi maksimal hingga 1920x1080. Dibalut chasis alumunium dan backlit keyboard programmable dari SteelSeries turut dihadirkan untuk memanjakan user. Selain menghadirkan kekuatan GeForce GTX 570M, MSI GT780DXR dipersenjatai dengan processor Intel Core i7-2630QM yang mampu berjalan pada frekuensi 2.9 GHz melalui Turbo Boost dari frekuensi dasar 2.0 GHz. Memory DDR3 dengan kapasitas hingga 16 GB akan menambah kecepatan, serta HDD (Hard Disk Drive) 1.5 TB siap menampung berbagai file multimedia maupun koleksi film.
Sedangkan notebook MSI GT683DXR hadir dengan spesifikasi hampir sama seperti GT780DXR. Perbedaannya terletak pada layar 15.6 inchi Full HD Glossy dan kapasitas HDD 1 TB serta berat lebih ringan sekitar 0.9 lbs. Notebook MSI GT780DXR dan GT683DXR dibekali dengan beberapa fitur canggih seperti :
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 570M, GPU generasi terbaru yang mampu meningkatkan kinerja sampai 20% untuk pengalaman yang intens.
- Teknologi MSI TDE (Turbo Drive Engine), mendorong kinerja grafis 3 - 5 persen untuk mempercepat decoding video.
- Teknologi MSI Cooler Boost, kemudahan dalam melakukan overclock GPU bersama TDE.
- Dynaudio Speaker dengan THX Surround Sound, speaker berkualitas profesional dengan built-in sub-woofer yang dapat mereproduksi THX surround secara akurat.
- Mouse KINZU dari SteelSeries, menawarkan kecepatan pointer hingga 3200 CPI (Counts Per Inch), kompatibel dengan semua permukaan game serta sensor optik kelas game untuk stabilitas dan kehandalan.
