Pada ajang Computex 2011 yang baru saja berlalu, MSI menghadirkan notebook MSI GT780 untuk segmentasi gaming. Didesain dengan basis processor Intel Core 2nd Generation yaitu Core i7-2630QM dan dipadukan bersama Chipset Intel HM67. Notebook gaming harus mempunyai GPU diskrit mumpuni, maka MSI GT780 dibekali NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560M dengan VRAM 1.5 GB GDDR5 yang akan menangani rendering grafis. Dari sisi audio MSI GT780 mempersenjatai dirinya dengan THX Trustudio yang akan membawa pengalaman gaming lebih menarik. Dipadukan dengan display 17.3 inchi Full High Definition LED backlight yang mampu menampilkan resolusi hingga 1920x1080. Untuk meningkatkan kinerja handal terdapat DDR3 1066/1333 MHz.
