ASUS Sabertooth Z77 with New Thermal Armor

ASUS merilis mainboard Sabertooth Z77 untuk memberikan dukungan bagi processor Intel 3rd Generation kode Ivy Bridge. ASUS Sabertooth Z77 juga kompatibel dengan processor Intel Core 2nd Generation code name Sandy Bridge karena menganut platform socket LGA1155. Didesain berdasarkan Chipset Intel Z77 Express dari keluarga Panther Point Series, ASUS Sabertooth Z77 support dual channel memory DDR3 1066 MHz dengan kapasitas maksimal 32 GB yang tersedia dalam 4 slot DIMM.

ASUS Sabertooth Z77 menghadirkan Thermal Armor, sebuah rancangan military cooler yang menutup sebagian besar mainboard dan memakai dual turbo fan untuk memperlancar aliran udara sehingga akan mempercepat sistem pendinginan. Dilengkapi juga dengan multi sensor panas yang akan membaca suhu mainboard untuk kemudian secara otomatis mengatur kecepatan kipas sesuai kebutuhan. Dengan demikian dapat mengurangi konsumsi daya.

Melalui desain TUF, ASUS Sabertooth Z77 dipersenjatai dengan Dust Defender yang mampu melindungi slot dan konektor dari debu serta partikel yang dapat mengganggu koneksi antar komponen mainboard. Mempergunakan komponen TUF seperti alloy choke, solid capasitor dan MOSFET guna menjaga stabilitas sistem serta kehandalan.

Untuk mengatur tegangan digital pada mainboard ASUS Sabertooth Z77 dipakai DIGI+ Power Control yang memungkinkan anda untuk melakukan tuning CPU, iGPU dan DRAM secara presisi. Tak ketinggalan pula LucidLogix Virtu MVP, sebuah utility yang dapat digunakan untuk mempercepat performa VGA Card hingga 60 %.

Terdapat slot ekspansi yang terdiri dari 2 PCI Express 3.0 x16, 1 slot PCI Express 2.0 x16 dan 3 slot PCI Express 2.0 x1. Mendukung multi GPU sehingga anda bisa melakukan konfigurasi NVIDIA SLI maupun AMD CrossfireX. Bagian suara dipercayakan pada chip Realtek ALC892 8-channel HD Audio Codec.
