AMD merilis VGA Card Radeon HD 7800 Series yang diproduksi berdasarkan teknologi GPU 28 nm. AMD langsung menawarkan 2 model sekaligus yaitu Radeon HD 7850 dan Radeon HD 7870 GHz Edition. AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series menampilkan arsitektur Graphics Core Next (GCN) untuk menghadirkan efisiensi dan kinerja yang spektakuler. Dirancang mempergunakan bus interface PCI Express 3.0, AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series membawa teknologi AMD ZeroCore Power untuk efisiensi daya, mendukung DirrectX 11 serta dilengkapi juga dengan memory 2 GB GDDR5.
