ASUS kembali menghadirkan mainboard ROG dengan forrm factor micro ATX yaitu ASUS Rampage IV Gene. Mendukung processor terbaru Intel Sandy Bridge-E socket LGA2011 dan didampingi Chipset Intel X79 Express memory quad channel DDR3 2400 melalui overclocking. ASUS Rampage IV Gene didesain dengan menggunakan Extreme Engine Digi+ II untuk memperoleh efisiensi power yang optimal dan dibangun memakai komponen kelas premium.
Mainboard ASUS Rampage IV Gene dirancang untuk memberikan support kepada multi GPU melalui slot PCI Express 3.0 x16 sehingga dapat dikonfigurasi dalam NVIDIA SLI maupun AMD CrossFireX. Untuk bagian suara digunakan SupremeFX III guna menghadirkan audio mengesankan.
